    ha anyone who talks down on this photo or makes fun of syd is clearly not from the city of champions…this picture illustrates 20 years of hard work and determination striving for something bigger than yourself. it is the culmination of the excess of perservance and talent. So sit there and make fun of the kid all you want but know at the end of the day he will sleep well with his cup knowing that he has accomplished what he was born to do-be a leader, an all-star, a winner……a champion.

    too funny, for those making negative remarks you must remember that this is a huge accomplishment for anyone, especially as such a young age.

    Now for those who think he is the best player in the world, take a look at the talent in the NHL. Maybe top 5 is he is lucky….the Pens would have won without him (actually they did win without him; 2 points in the final round, minus player etc….). Malkin led this team on the scoresheet, Gonchar and Guerin in the dressing room. Maybe is a few years he will deserve that C on his chest.
