Joseph Petcka, a miserable minor league pitcher for the Mets in the early 90's, pleaded guilty today to killing his girlfriend's cat.
According to the prosecutors, Petcka killed the 7-year-old feline in a drunken rage. His girlfriend must have refused his ransom demands.
