Nike does it again with this ad featuring countless numbers of soccer superstars. There are so many people running around I can’t make everyone out.
Those I did see include Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Ribery, Iniesta, Pato, Ozil, Pique, and Chicarito. And you can’t forget about the cameo LeBron James makes in this. Forget about winning a championship. I guess for LBJ, the green screen comes first.
Pepsi got their own version of a boy band together for the new “Kick in the Mix” campaign. Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero, Jack Wilshere and Fernando Torres take time out of their busy schedules to do a little green screen crowd surfing.
Luckily we don’t have to listen to them sing like those PGA guys. Calvin Harris was nice enough to take care of the music for us.
EA Sports released this ad for their new Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 game. It features a duel between “Crimson Cat” and Shaquille “Swinging Giant” O’Neal. You have to love how horribly the stunt double to star transition works in this commercial. Just like they are in the old school kung fu movies.
Paula Deen is the queen of showing Americans how to cook foods with such high salt and fat content. Unfortunately last week she told the public about her 3 year battle with Type 2 diabetes. The uproar came as she also announced a rich deal with drug maker Novo Nordisk to be the face of their company. Why wait so long to come out? And even worse, why continue to shove the idea that fat is fine into the American public’s face?
Deen’s biggest haters came out of the woodwork. From Eddie Huang to Anthony Bourdain. The “No Reservations” host tweeted this…“Thinking of getting into the leg-breaking business, so I can profitably sell crutches later.”
