AFC Future odds preview and favorites

The NFL season is just under a month away, and while the AFC may be down this season, there are several AFC teams that could very well find themselves winners of the Super Bowl. Let’s take a look at some of the NFL odds favorites in the AFC, and see if their AFC odds coincide with their Super Bowl odds.

Patriots +225 AFC, +450 Super Bowl

The odds on favorites to win the AFC and the Super Bowl are none other than Tom Brady’s Patriots. New England had a sour Super Bowl last season, and they have reloaded and restocked their team to try for another run at the big game. They brought in Brandon Lloyd, and they still have one of the best offenses in the AFC and the NFL.

Texans +600 AFC, +1200 Super Bowl

As you can see, the next highest favorite in the AFC is pretty far down from New England. I’m not saying the Texans don’t have a shot. In fact, it’s quite the opposite. The Texans have the best defense in the AFC, and if anyone is going to knock off the big bad Patriots, it will probably be the Texans. They will have to stay healthy, which as we’ve seen with this team, that can be a struggle.

Ravens +700 AFC, +1400 Super Bowl

The Ravens out played the Pats in the AFC Title game last season, but a shanked field goal left them as the AFC runner ups. This season, they have a great shot at winning the AFC, but they will have to hope that something happens in Patriots land. They have a great shot, but they are surely the third best team in the AFC.
