The nickname for the San Francisco 49ers special teams: The Tony Montana Squad.
Why? Because before every kickoff, that song by Future is played over the loudspeakers of Candlestick Park and those 11 guys, sans David Akers start dancing around to pump themselves up. This stuff makes me happy.
You can probably label this idea a success, as they haven’t given up a kickoff TD all season and only allowed 11 possessions to start in Niners’ territory.
FYI. This song was first used in the 27-20 win against the New York Giants in November. LOOK OUT!
