Earlier this week, we mentioned John Kerry’s tweet to Chad Ochocinco, suggesting that the Pats’ newest wideout try a Friendly’s Fribble before leaving Massachusetts.
I found it odd that the Bay State’s Senior Senator would identify a Fribble as the most distinctive of Massachusetts culinary items, especially when you consider the fact that Friendly’s is a national chain.
I also inadvertently broke King Ing’s heart by saying Fribbles are made with some sort of powdered mix, as opposed to traditional ice cream and milk. Today, I piece his heart back together and answer some other Friendly’s based questions, with the help of company spokesperson Maura Tobias

The fans of New York City streetball can shower you with their love or boo you from start to finish. Unfortunately for Michael Beasley he had one guy show him the latter.
In a hotly contested game that matched Team 914 (Beasley) against Team Nike led by Kevin Durant, one second half incident changed the mood around Dyckman Park.
Beasley began jawing with some fans under the baskets, at one point shouting at the crowd “I get paid to do this!”
One of the fans behind a metal barrier, Garland Quince, a regular at Dyckman, was targeted and approached by Beasley. The 6-10, 235-pound power forward then placed one hand on Quince’s head and shoved him backward.
“He just mushed me. He mushed me in my face,” Quince said. “I was arguing about a Kevin Durant call and he just mushed me in my face.”
“B-Easy” has too much to lose to even involve himself in this type of situation. Hopefully he learns from it and nothing like this will ever happens again.

I pretty much hate all things Tiger Woods, but his new golf shoes are the hotness.
The majority of the upper consists of a polyurethane coated stretch fabric, also seen within the construction of NIKE Basketball’s Hyperfuse 2011. Part of the heel is created from recycled NIKE Air Max units melted into thread and then woven together to create a strong, breathable textile material. The FREE-inspired outsole is directly taken from NIKE Sportswear’s Special Field Boot designed for first-responders.
This model also has a half heel counter in both shoes to give more stability on the lateral side, particularly in follow through. The shoe also incorporates NIKE Flywire (first introduced in Beijing in 2008) attached to each lace loop, which when pulled tight envelope the foot for maximum comfort and stability.

Remember what happened to the one Manchester United fan that decided to wear a Wayne Rooney jersey to a Liverpool training session in Malaysia? He got taunted and had his shirt physically removed by a bunch of The Reds supporters.
Well the same thing happened to this poor AC Milan fan when he courageously/foolishly sat in a large group of Inter faithful.
Why can’t Asians let you sit and watch the game in peace without getting your shirt ripped off?

Once, when I was in 8th grade, I went to Friendly’s with my friends Izzy and Dave. When the waitress came, Dave asked her if a Fribble was made with real ice cream or if it was just Fribble mix and milk. Turns out it’s just fribble mix and milk.
Why am I mentioning this story? Because of John Kerry and Chad Ochocinco, of course.

In their latest installment of ads, Kenny Powers eye trains with Jon “Bones” Jones and Urijah Faber. Kwiss’ MFCEO shows some good technique at the end that would really work in the octagon.
Such NSFW language.

Someone a lot better than me decided to recreate the Kobe Bryant 81 point outburst against the Toronto Raptors in NBA 2k11.

An NBA lockout doesn’t stop Kevin Durant from tearing up the summer leagues across the nation. Whether it be the Drew League, the Goodman, and now Rucker Park; “The Durantula” is showing people what it means to be the scoring champ.
Just watch these four straight possessions from last night’s EBC where Durant just drains four 25+ ft 3-pointers for the DC Power. The crowd gets crazier after each bucket.
Harlem world and it don’t stop.
