Corey Haim; 1971-2010

You may have enjoyed “Lucas” or the “Lost Boys” or “License To Drive,” but those were only movies. There was only one Corey Haim project that was a true cultural and sociological touchstone, which shaped the psyches of an entire generation.

And that, of course, was blown away.

The first time a young Justin stumbled upon “Blown Away” on Cinemax late one night, he thought, “Hey Corey Feldman and Corey Haim are in a movie with that girl from Charles in Charge.” Later, he thought to himself, “Wow! It’s really hot when the girl’s on top.”

So, thank you Corey Haim. It’s too bad you became a joke and then died from cocaine.
