Posted on 08 February 2010 by California Correspondent

Sure, Google’s 3rd quarter Parisian Love ad was charming and cute last night, but this is what the search company should have run in their $2.5m slot.

I love Abigail Clancy!  This might be like the 100th time I have featured her on SCP, but I just can’t help myself. Anyways, here is her FHM photospread.

Why can’t she breakthrough in America?

Still haven’t decided how I am going to bet the Super Bowl. Any thoughts?

The Greatest Idea of ALL TIME

Posted on 04 February 2010 by Justin

Do you like eating meals of food?  I do.  I also enjoy adding condiments to said meals, in order to enhance their taste. It is a common practice among those who eat meals of food.

Though the statistical evidence may point to salsa (for MEXICANS!) as the most popular condiment, I would argue that ketchup (FROM AMERICA!) is still the number one choice.

But it’s not all a walk in the park for those of us who enjoy garnishing our meat and potatoes with delicious ketchupy goodness. For generations, eaters on the go have struggled to get enough ketchup to provide full meal coverage. The Packets are simply too small. It takes a minimum of 3 and  sometimes upwards of five to flavor a burger and fries to taste.

At least, until now.  The heroes at the Heinz pickle company have come out with what is undoubtedly the greatest innovation in food eating history

Posted on 04 February 2010 by King Ing

So now that Armani unleashed their Crisitano Ronaldo and Megan Fox photospreads, it was only time before Calvin Klein released their own. They used the same idea as Armani for their X Underwear line when featuring actors Kellan Lutz, Mechad Brooks and athletes Fernando Verdasco, Hidetoshi Nakata.

Who does it the best?

Posted on 03 February 2010 by Justin

Say Hey! There’s a new biography out about Willie Mays. It’s the first time the Hall of Famer has cooperated with a writers’ efforts to chronicle his life.

“Willie Mays: The Life, The Legend” touches on Mays’ time with the Giants, as well as his childhood and early days in the minors, as well as his role as a Black celebrity during the civil rights movement.

The author, James S Hirsch, was kind enough to answer some questions for us.

If you want to read about the ins and outs of the Saints and the Colts, the internet has plenty of places to go.  Here at SCP, we’re going to focus on the non-football parts of SuperBowl Sunday.  And to that end, we take a look at the economics of the broadcast with our old friend, Connell McShane of the Fox Business Network.

Vanessa Perroncel is the real Chelsea MVP

Posted on 03 February 2010 by King Ing

vanessa-perroncel1

It seems that Vanessa Perroncel was just not intimate with John Terry and Wayne Bridge. Three other former members of the Chelsea FC enjoyed the company of the French lingerie model.

“Vanessa Perroncel is alleged to have had flings with strikers Adrian Mutu and Eidur Gudjohnsen, defenders Wayne Bridge and Terry as well as a fifth mystery player.

The revelations will increase the pressure on embattled Terry, who faces fresh calls to step down as England captain.”

I am still somewhat shocked over the actions of John Terry. Do you really sleep with one of your best friends girlfriends or ex-girlfriends? Maybe he has never heard the phrase “Bros before Hoes.” There goes my wager on England to win the World Cup now. Money shifts to the Germans!

And once again England soccer trumps the USA team. This time in scandalous behavior.
