Everyone is going bonkers over Brandon Marshall’s TD catch and run against the Cowboys, but here at SCP we like to focus on the lighter side of the game.

In my opinion the New York Giants are the best team in football. They are great in all phases of the game. But then I see Eli Manning make this throw and I start to question my thinking. Mr Fundamental! (I know he injured himself)

You always hear about the celebrities that throw out the first pitch for the Los Angeles Dodgers, but you never seem to see any at the Angels games. Until now that is. Holly Madison took time out of her busy schedule to grace the fans with her presence and toss a couple balls around.

Against the Spread is back (College Football on Fridays, NFL on Saturdays). Who doesn’t want to read some stranger’s college football gambling picks. The King will guide you on this ride as DeGags has gone on to bigger and better things. And don’t you worry, I will keep a record and units won/loss. (The vig will be counted because that is how actual sports gambling works or as my dad likes to put it; “That’s why the bookies drive the nice cars.” So good luck to me and if you don’t like my picks…F U!

Michigan @ Michigan St 12PM

Michigan St hasn’t been able to stop the run all year allowing Notre Dame and Wisconsin (193 yds) to punish the rock against what was coming into the season one of the Big Tens best defenses. Michigan on the other hand comes into the game a force on the ground. Whether it be led by Tate Forcier or Denard Robinson at QB; Brandon Minor and Carlos Brown at RB the Wolverines should be able to run at will on the Spartans. I look for a close game and as usual a late INT from Spartans QB Kirk Cousins.

This new rumor comes from Blind Gossip and asks:

There’s a famous NBA player – known for being a bad boy – who can’t stop talking about her since he met her. In his own words, “She’s exactly the right height to give me a b* j*.”

How many petite, TV actresses are there? Eva Longoria and Hayden Panettiere come to mind? Actually it could be Glee’s Kristin Chenoweth.

I just wonder who the NBA player is?!?!

Alright, maybe these two are very young Yankees fans. But it still is funny and borderline cute.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and some NFL players are out to support and raise awareness by wearing pink cleats and gloves during this weekends games. Some of the stars donning the color will be Larry Fitzgerald, Chad Greenway, Chester Taylor, and Brett Favre. Chad Ochocinco (cleats pictured) has even taken to his twitter page and tells us all about his effort to add more to the pink ensemble with a mouthpiece and chinstrap.

Everyone considers the NFL to be full of tough, manly men; so when these athletes decide to do something “on the field” to show their support, it is a great thing to see.
