Pigeons > Eagles

Posted on 19 October 2009 by King Ing

I had a lot “invested” into the Philadelphia Eagles yesterday. And as usual instead of having my back, “The Birds” came out and dropped turds all over the field. They even let this pigeon shut them down on a kickoff return. FML!

Megan Fox & Cristiano Ronaldo Armani underwear models

Forget “Balloon Boy.” the top Google Trend item should be Cristiano Ronaldo and Megan Fox being announced as the new Emporio Armani Underwear models. The duo replace David and Victoria Beckham. Could they have made a better pairing?

It is only a matter of time before these two get down and dirty. Get me these pictures ASAP.

Somewhere in this world Brian Austin Green is crying in a corner.

The record might not be the best, but as any good gambler knows….It is all about the units. Remember that. And just like “Ballon Boy”…these picks are just for show.

Oklahoma vs. Texas 12PM

The game of the day. Is Texas the team that stands up and plays the winner of Florida/Alabama? Or does Oklahoma show that the two losses without Sam Bradford were just an aberration? A couple things jump out at me. Oklahoma loves to run the ball. Too bad they are facing the Longhorns number 1 rated rush defense. And don’t forget that Texas brings back Jordan Shipley. He has caught double digit passes over the last three games. Look for that to continue and a big special returns play to keep the Longhorns on track for the National Championship game.

Pick – Texas -3 2 units

USC shows us what the new NFL overtime should look like

Posted on 15 October 2009 by King Ing

With the score tied 12-12 at the end of USC’s practice, coach Pete Carroll found a great way to break the tie between the offense and defense. Instead of playing it out he had offensive line coach Pat Ruel and defensive line coach Jethro Franklin slip-and-slide it out on the field. The D was awarded the victory.

Very loose feel to this team, especially headed to a hostile South Bend on Saturday (I know who I got winning…picks tomorrow).

If only the NFL adopted this strategy. Who wouldn’t want to see Rex Ryan sliding down the sideline?

Which soccer player has deep pockets, yet is ugly as sin?

Today’s Daily Mirror asks:

“Which footballer would infuriate his wife after he was overheard chatting up pretty ladies by boasting how he would treat them with his whopping wage? Thankfully they were repulsed by his whopping ego…

Your extra clue: They probably weren’t that taken with his looks, either.”

Big ego and ugly? Hmmmmmmm. Who do you think it is?
