Another winning weekend for the King. Hopefully we can continue the streak. This CFB Saturday is kind of light on games I like, but should be enough to tide me over while I am away golfing and bowling in the lovely central new Jersey area. Enjoy and good luck. (For entertainment purposes only)
Georgia Tech v Virginia 12PM
Virginia is coming in hot winning their last three games after an 0-3 start. But that was against mediocre at best competition (North Carolina, Indiana, Maryland). Now comes the scorching Yellow Jackets and their triple option led by QB Josh Nesbitt. The man has rushed for 262 yards and six touchdowns in wins over Florida St and Virginia Tech. Add RB’s Jonathan Dwyer, Anthony Allen, and Roddy Jones into the mix and this team will put up points. The Cavs already have an inept offense. And it doesn’t help to have a hobbled QB Jameel Sewell. Give me the Jackets

Arkansas v Ole Miss 12:20PM
It’s as simple as this. Jevan Snead and Ryan Mallett are going to throw and throw and throw. When you pass that many times you have to expect some turnovers leading to short fields. For that reason give me this short number.
Pick – Over 53.5 2 units
Penn St. v Michigan 3:30PM
Most teams would have trouble with Michigan’s spread rushing offense. The Nittany Lions are not one of those teams. The front of that Penn St defense is as good as it gets allowing 7 points or less in five of their first seven games. Daryll Clark will do enough not to give the game away.
Pick – Penn St -4 2 units
Boston College v Notre Dame 3:30PM
Jimmy Clausen is facing an Eagles defense that is ranked 11th in the ACC. I smell total mismatch. If you give him that much time to find Golden Tate and Kyle Rudolph you are looking at a long day. Montel Harris will have to carry the load for BC. But he alone will not be able to keep up with the Fighting Irish offense. Add the fact BC struggles on the road and I love ND.
Pick – Notre Dame -7.5 1 unit
Auburn v LSU 7:30PM
Auburn has burned me the last two weekends. But as the saying goes the third time is always the charm. Chris Todd will find his passing groove again and RB Ben Tate will give the Tigers the balance they need against the LSU defense that doesn’t generate a pass rush. Meanwhile the LSU offense is the worst in the SEC. If the game goes like I hope, LSU will be throwing to keep up which doesn’t bode well for QB Jordan Jefferson.
Pick – Auburn -7.5 2 units
