Jay-Z designs a limited edition Arthur Ashe t-shirt

Do you know how I can tell the US Open is kicking into full gear here in New York City? It’s because I see those gigantic tennis balls popping up everywhere. While they hope to sell 4000-5000 of those, here is to hoping they sell many more of these Arthur Ashe t-shirts designed by Jay-Z. Simply because proceeds from this tee will benefit the Arthur Ashe Endowment for the Defeat of AIDS.

I am thrilled that someone of Jay-Z’s stature would take part in this project,” said Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe, Arthur Ashe’s widow. “This shirt will honor the legacy of my husband and remind people of his contributions to both the sport of tennis and this country’s underprivileged youth.”

You can pick one up at Flushing Meadows. But if you aren’t able to attend the Open, you can also buy them at ArthurAshe.org or the USOpen.org.
