Michael Phelps dating Miss California Carrie Prejean

It has been one eventful week for Miss California Carrie Prejean. She made national headlines with her comments on gay marriage at Sunday’s Miss America pageant. And now we find out she is dating none other than Michael Phelps. The man can’t help but find himself in the media spotlight.
“Carrie and Michael have been out to baseball games and lunch,†Coppolla said. “He always calls her when he is in town and they go out.â€
Not just a pretty blonde, Prejean is fully aware of Phelps’ lothario reputation and is taking the flirtation with the swimmer in stride.
“Carrie knows that he has dated a lot of girls but she enjoys going out with him and isn’t serious about being in a relationship with him,†she added. “He’s a nice guy and she likes him.”
Wonder what Phelps’ mom thinks of the situation? I guess it means more publicity for her newly released book. How is that thing selling anyways?
