Winning the Slam Dunk competition usually gets you a trophy and some cash. But if you are part of the New York Knicks it gets you some time on the David Letterman Show. I think Nate Robinson showed the world just how charismatic he can be. And of course my favorite part is when he decided to slam one home over Biff Henderson.
While most athletes have their birthday celebrations at a nightclub surrounded by beautiful women and hundreds of people they don’t know; Inter Milan striker Adriano has an even better one with his teammates.
Golden St had the Lakers against the ropes last night, but the NBA Finalists showed the country just how hard it will be to take them out this year. Kobe Bryant was his usual spectacular offensive self, even with Stephen Jackson playing tremendous defense on him. But the highlight of the night came from Bryant on the other end of the floor were he had two sick blocks on Anthony Randolph and Corey Maggette.
Even though the Magic got crushed by the Hornets last night, Dwight Howard managed to catch a sick alley-oop dunk over Hilton Armstrong and Chris Paul.
The Brit Awards were last night and a couple of WAG-tastic ladies took home some hardware. Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle along with the rest of the wildly popular group, Girls Aloud won for best single. They decided to celebrate with their significant others Ashley Cole and Jason Bell at the Universal Party.
Abi Clacy was also in attendance sans her Portsmouth striker Peter Crouch. Which is probably all for the better.
