This is the football I love. Bonecrunching hits with helmets flying off! In last night’s intense defensive battle between the Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans we saw one of the hardest hitting games I have ever seen. And this Ray Lewis tackle on Ahmad Hall sums it all up.
I have no clue how Hall held onto the ball. Then again I don’t know what it is to be tough.

Baltimore at Tennessee.
We begin with a doozy! I think this is going to be a great game, but I also think the week off will be more detrimental to Tennessee than helpful. Baltimore’s defense is solid, and getting better! Their offense has a game plan that works. I like The Titans, I want them to win, but I have to put my money with my head, and it tells me that Baltimore has a better chance of winning. We’ll take the points here. 6 Units Baltimore + 3 over Tennessee ATS.
Arizona at Carolina.
Carolina will destroy Arizona. I am pretty confident in this team, and if they can make it past the NFC East, they will defeat Baltimore in the Super Bowl. 3 Units on Carolina -10 over Arizona ATS.
Eagles at Giants.
Go Giants!! This game is too close to call. If I were betting I’d take the points, but I’m not touching this rivalry, anything can happen. My gut says the Giants win, but Philly covers. You’re own your own here.
San Diego at Pittsburgh.
San Diego looked unsettled on Saturday, but they still managed to pull it off. I think they too are better off for having played a game before the Division playoffs. I am taking 6 Units on San Diego +6 over Pittsburgh.
Record: 74-52 (+41.2 units)

Bill Romanowski says he wants the Broncos head coaching job. He’s gone so far as to send Pat Bowlan a powerpoint presentation detailing his qualifications for the position.
Does it include the steroids admissions? The recreational drug use? The incident when he ended a teammates career during a fight? The cheating? The spitting? The ball grabbing at the bottom of the pile?
How can this guy even think he has a chance? What kind of dreamworld is he living in?
I don’t know. Why are you asking me? What I do know, though, is that Romanowski is not alone. There have been a number of people with stars in their eyes and rocks in their head recently. Let’s take a look at a few of them.

I think most companies can and should take lessons from the advertising team at Nike. Their commercials are pretty much always spot on. Take for instance this one for their NikeID sneakers with Cesc Fabregas, Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo. It plays with your emotions like Kate Winslet in the Titanic. What more can you ask for in a commercial! So much better than the ads that CareerBuilder puts out.
Sometimes I just want to smack ad execs around. Who are they targeting? Dumbasses?

Congratulations to the Florida Gators on their second national title in three years. Mix that in with their basketball team winning back to back championships I say you have the best athletic program in the nation. Does anyone really care about any other college sports other than hoops and the pigskin?
I don’t like Tim Tebow. Have no real reasoning behind it, but will admit he cemented himself as an all time collegiate great last night. When it came down to it, he ran where he wanted to and made the passes to prolong the drives late in the game.
The Florida defense was outstanding. They held the highest scoring team in the nation to 14 points. The goalline stand (should have tried play action on third down) and the interception right before the half took points and more importantly momentum away from the Sooners. I wonder if Demarco Murray would have made a difference in the game?
Anyways, congrats again to Gator Nation (especially all my cousins). My guess is Tebow stays, while Sam Bradford, Percy Harvin and Brandon Spikes leave. That leaves Texas as my preseason number 1.

BCS Championship Game
Florida vs. Oklahoma
Either team can win, but Florida is the better team (defense and special teams). I believe that the Gators will win this game and I believe that they can cover. With both of these high octane offenses it will be a high scoring affair. I have 2 Units on Florida -5 Over Oklahoma. 2 Units on the Over 69.
Record: 73-51 (+41.4 units)
P.S. King Ing is on Oklahoma +5…just becuase he doesn’t like Tim Tebow.
