Is This Guy Owed a Job?

bc190If it’s true that BC head coach Jeff Jagodzinski sacrificed his position in Chestnutl Hill in order to interview for the Jets job, does that mean Woody Johnson and Mike Tannenbaum owe him something?

The man openly defied his bosses to seek another job which it’s pretty clear he has no chance of getting.  It’s also very clear that the man wants to return to the NFL.

But, the Jets front office knew all of this, and decided to let the guy interview anyway. Isn’t there some culpability? Shouldn’t Tannenbaum have called Jagodzinski at some point over the weekend and said, “Listen pal, there’s like a 2% chance we’re going to hire you. Why don’t we call off this interview so you can keep your job?”

I’m not saying the Jets should make him head coach. But at least offer the guy a position on the coaching staff, or with the organization.

What do you think? Answer in the comments.

  2. Just another reason Boston College is a shiteous university.

People look for new jobs all the time. They try to step up in this world. And as we all know people interview without their bosses knowledge. It’s just unfortunate the job he was looking for was public news and high profile.

All Jags was trying to do is do what anyone else in this world does.

Way to be supportive and selfish you pricks! Have fun losing another meaningless bowl game. Because we all know you bastards can’t win the ACC Championship.
