Mayor Gavin Newsome of San Francisco and Mayor Manny Diaz of Miami have a little bet on tonight’s Emerald Bowl, where the Miami Hurricanes take on the Cal Bears at AT&T Park. Newsom has wagered a case of Napa wine and several loaves of sourdough bread, and Diaz has wagered a bushell of Florida oranges.
Hey DeGags, what’s the over/under on the Jets game Sunday? I’ll take Miami and wager a satchel of soybeans against your bushell of wheat germ. Deal?
