Chris Wright dunks it over Maurice Acker of Marquette
December 1, 2008 – 5:56 pm by King IngI went the whole weekend without seeing or hearing about this dunk by Dayton’s Chris Wright. Thank goodness faithful reader OfftheWall sent this link to me. Wright goes airborne and possibly teabagged Maurice Acker of Marquette on this slam. Anytime you can get the white guys on the bench excited like that you know you did something pretty special.

I was at this game. You could tell it was coming from a mile away. Coincidentally, I hope I never have to be within a 10 mile radius of Hoffman Estates ever again. What a dump, not to mention a rinky-dink production put on by whoever ran that “tournament.”

Impressive. Until I heard acker is only 5′6″, one of the smallest players in D1. Maybe not as impressive as I originally thought!
It’s like this 28yo guy I play bball with. He yells everytime he blocks a shot on this other guy, who’s 80 years old!! Probably should not be as proud as he is!

Hey Giveit,
I don’t care if the defender was 4 feet tall. The guy(Wright) took off from about 10 to 12 feet out, jumped over a defender and dunked the ball.
Don’t see how dunking over a guard from the 15th ranked team in the nation is anything like blocking an 80 yr old’s shot.
