Fashion Intern Fights with TV Host

What’s with me and the fashionistas? Yesterday, I wrote about Mr. Blackwell. Today, I focus on another major figure in the world of couture.

Former Vogue intern Sean Avery made his first├é┬ávisit to the Garden this week since leaving the Rangers for the Stars. He’s obviously the most hated man in the league among opponents, but for the most part, he was respected by teammates and fans in New York and didn’t leave amid bad feelings. So, no one expected much trouble upon his return. And there was none. On the ice.

In the tunnel, though? That’s a different story.

Sean Avery and MSG Network’s John Giannone engaged in a heated, profanity-laced confrontation between the first and second periods Monday night near the officials’ room, two eyewitnesses confirmed yesterday. With arena personnel nearby, Avery emerged from the Stars locker room with about four minutes remaining in the break and unleashed a barrage of obscenities at Giannone. When Avery reportedly made a remark about Giannone’s wife, the broadcaster fired back. When the officials emerged from the room, Avery and the Stars’ Krystofer Barch went toward the ice and the dispute cooled down. Giannone declined to comment yesterday and referred questions to MSG. “There was a verbal exchange between the two last night,” an MSG spokesman said. “It’s over and we won’t have any further comment.” The league is not expected to discipline Avery, who wasn’t available for comment yesterday.

Is it possible that Giannone’s wife was wearing white after labor day? Was she trying to mix stripes and polka dots? What could she have done to insult Sean Avery so much?

No wonder why everyone hates this guy. He seems like such a prick. His life peaked when he dated Elisha Cuthbert.
