The BoSox were lucky that Los Angeles blew that squeeze play. That missed bunt is going to haunt Aybar forever. Also, I want to point out that while Varitek did have the ball in control when he placed the tag on Willits, it’s a pussy move to drop it and they should have called him safe on principle alone.
