And Arod’s Gross Affair Continues…

Posted on 31 October 2008 by California Correspondent

Page 6 is reporting that Arod and Madonna made a super secret trip to Jerry Seinfeld’s mansion last weekend with a plot involving multiple helicopters, Porsches, black SUVs and Jerry’s mansion. The story reads much like a James Bond film. In case you have a hard time following, we’ve made a picture book of the events. Click through to read view the full story!

Saturday Matchup Pt. 2: Texas Longhorns v Texas Tech Red Raiders

Posted on 31 October 2008 by King Ing

ABC’s primetime game features the Texas Longhorns (-3.5) traveling to Lubbock to face the Texas Tech Red Raiders. It will be a lot of Colt McCoy to Jordan Shipley and Quan Cosby. While the Red Raiders counter with the dynamic pass/catch duo of Graham Harrell to Michael Crabtree. Whichever defense can make the key stop will be victorious and undefeated.

My choice for winner: Colt McCoy’s girlfried Rachel Glandorf (pictured left).

USC’s Taylor Mays wants a date with Lauren Conrad

Posted on 31 October 2008 by King Ing

It has been a long time since I have talked about “The Hills” on SCP, but Dr. Saturday now gives me reason to. USC Trojans safety Taylor Mays laid two hits on Arizona tailback Keola Antolin last week; one resulting in knocking the RB out of the game. Why so malicious? Well the source behind his motivation Mays explains;

“I like to hit guys hard so if Lauren Conrad and I ever go on a date, she will feel protected.”

Back up! LC is my girl, you can date Lo.

Video of the so called “impressive hits” after the jump…

Eric Boulton and Colton Orr take the lead for fight of the year

Posted on 31 October 2008 by King Ing

The game between the New York Rangers and Atlanta Thrashers produced what could be the fight of the year. Eric Boulton and Colton Orr put on a show exchanging punches for well over a minute. Watch for yourself.

Saturday Matchup Pt. 1: Florida Gators v Georgia Bulldogs

Posted on 31 October 2008 by King Ing

This weekend offers plenty of marquee games, but I choose to focus on the two top 10 matchups. The first being the Florida Gators (-6.5) v the Georgia Bulldogs. I know the Cocktail Party is in Jacksonville, but are the Gators really a touchdown favorite over the team from Athens.

Maybe they are as Tim Tebow leads a balanced offense that is putting up almost 200 yards both rushing (196.0 ypg) and passing (214.3 ypg). The defense is among the nation’s elite in allowing just 11.9 ppg this year. The pass defense has been particularly stingy, giving up a mere 170.7 ypg. Florida has thrived in terms of forcing turnovers, with a +10 margin.

But give me the points and a heavy dose of Knowshon Moreno. Sprinkle in a little Matt Stafford to AJ Green and Mohamed Massaquoi and you have a tough Georgia offense. Look for a big play from Darryl Gamble (2 INT’s for TD last week against LSU) as this game is a field goal game all the way.

Tailgating sure must be fun in Jacksonville this weekend. Just ask these ladies! And look out for plenty of jorts. (Pt 2 later today)

Vodka bottle pw3ns streetlight climber in Philly

Posted on 30 October 2008 by King Ing

Thank you BustedCoverage, you made my day. Anytime I can see some dumbass climb a streetlight and get pelted in the head with a vodka bottle; it is great. What makes it even better is the 30 foot drop he suffered as a result. I am sure he is fine as there were probably 100 Phillies fans there to brace the fall.

The description says it was a Rays fan, for his sake I hope he wasn’t. There would definitely be some “kicking him while he was down” going on.

David Beckham can’t stop won’t stop staring at Laker Girls

Posted on 30 October 2008 by King Ing

The start of the 08-09 NBA season started on Tuesday with the Lakers dominating the Blazers. Celebrities were all over the Staples Center floor seats enjoying the action. But David Beckham was enjoying a different kind of action. Who can blame him, he has to gawk at these girls now before he heads over to Italy next year. Well played Becks!

Donnie Baseball Putting Those Acting Skills to Use in LA

Posted on 30 October 2008 by California Correspondent

A buddy of mine from LA sent me an instant message this afternoon and I couldn’t believe what he said. He just shot a commercial with Donnie Baseball!

Here’s what I know. It was an commercial for his revolutionary triangular grip baseball bat and the ad should hit the Internet first, and possibly TV at a later point. Thank god it wasn’t a new State Farm commercial.

Most of the acting was improvised with a few actors/comedians, so it will be interesting to see if it’s any worse than Ryan Braun’s commercial. In reality, it will be very difficult to get any worse than that.

And for what it’s worth, my friend said that Donnie is a super nice and funny guy.

We’ll post the commercial as soon as it’s released.
