The Crackle Recommends

I’m back with more things that I think you’ll like.  Don’t forget, this idea originated on McSweeneys, and they do a significantly better job than I do.

1. Baseball Tonight: They’ve managed to change with the times and keep the show relevant, without too many ESPN-y gimmicks.  And, for the most part, the hosts and panelists all bring something unique to the show.  It’s the perfect mix of highlights, trade talk and inside baseball talk from guys who know.

2. Candace Parker: I actually tuned in to a WNBA Game earlier this year to watch her play. She dunks, she punches Rich Mahorn in the face, she goes out with Shelden Williams. (he looks like what would happen if Sam Cassell had sex with a giant).  I give her an emphatic thumbs up!

3. Buying CD’s:  Call me old fashioned, but there is something about actually going to a music store and browsing the aisles that I just love. It’s my favorite way to spend a day. I also love having a giant music collection taking up space in my apartment. Each one reminds me of the day I bought it, or what was up in my life at the time. Try hitting shuffle on your i-tunes library and doing that. It won’t work

CD’s are as cool as the Boston Red Sox.
