Dan Uggla sets record for most All-Star errors
July 16, 2008 – 1:43 am by California Correspondent
Ok, I admit it. I only wanted to write this post because Dan Ugga is Ugly. Uggla set the record for most errors in an all-star game last night with 3 fielding errors - and he struck out in the top of the 15th when his team needed a hit most. The National League pitchers had to compensate for Uggly’s terrible fielding and keep the AL from winning until the bottom of the 15th inning when Michael Young hit a sac fly to score Justin Morneau for an AL 4-3 win.
Since 1997 (minus the tie): AL:11, NL: 0
Thanks Mr. Uggly!
