Bet of the day 6/20

I, like many of my friends enjoy gambling. It ranges from games of acey-deucey at a BBQ to the pit games in a casino. One thing that is easy (you don’t actually have to watch) and enjoyable is wagering on sports. With this continuing post, I will pick one game a day. With the side being no better than -130. All sports are open and we will keep a running tally of how well or how poorly I do.

Joba did his job, the Yankee bats did not. They only won by 1!

Today’s Pick: Boston Red Sox -1.5 (+115)

Tim Wakefield has thrown at least seven innings and allowed two or fewer runs in four straight starts. The Red Sox are 27-7 at home this year, the best in the majors. St. Louis is just 3-5 without the Albert Pujols and is coming into Boston after getting swept in three games at home by a bad Kansas City team in which they only scored 4 runs. Kyle Lohse is 0-3 with a 6.49 ERA in five career starts against the Red Sox.

Overall Record: $225 (9-7)
