Bet of the day 6/19

I, like many of my friends enjoy gambling. It ranges from games of acey-deucey at a BBQ to the pit games in a casino. One thing that is easy (you don’t actually have to watch) and enjoyable is wagering on sports. With this continuing post, I will pick one game a day. With the side being no better than -130. All sports are open and we will keep a running tally of how well or how poorly I do.

Mark Buehrle pitched superbly and the White SOx had enough home runs to push me to another win!

Today’s Pick: New York Yankees -1.5 (-115)

The game is a 1:05pm start today at Yankee Stadium. Joba Chamberlain is getting his fourth career start today, each being significantly better than the last. He gave up one run in six innings without getting a decision in New York’s 2-1 win in Houston on Friday. Look for this trend to continue today as he gets help from the hot Yankee bats that have won six games in a row. The Yankees have won 11 of 14 to move a season-best six games above .500. The Padres have been outscored 23-8 while losing their last three games. San Diego also ranks second-to-last in the majors with 3.75 runs per game. As much as it pains me to say this, Yankees big today!

Overall Record: $340 (9-6)
