Bet of the day 6/18

I, like many of my friends enjoy gambling. It ranges from games of acey-deucey at a BBQ to the pit games in a casino. One thing that is easy (you don’t actually have to watch) and enjoyable is wagering on sports. With this continuing post, I will pick one game a day. With the side being no better than -130. All sports are open and we will keep a running tally of how well or how poorly I do.

The Celtics tore a hole in the Lakers! Never in doubt

Today’s Pick: Chicago White Sox -1.5 (+120)

The White Sox had a season-high 19 hits in Tuesday’s series-opening 16-5 rout of Pittsburgh. Mark Buehrle is 2-0 with a 1.80 ERA in two career starts versus the Pirates. The Pirates have dropped three of its last four road games to fall to 13-22 away from PNC Park, and Wednesday’s starter Tom Gorzelanny (5-5, 6.65) is 1-4 with a 9.23 ERA in six road outings.

Overall Record: $220 (8-6)
