Bet of the day 6/16

I, like many of my friends enjoy gambling. It ranges from games of acey-deucey at a BBQ to the pit games in a casino. One thing that is easy (you don’t actually have to watch) and enjoyable is wagering on sports. With this continuing post, I will pick one game a day. With the side being no better than -130. All sports are open and we will keep a running tally of how well or how poorly I do.

The White Sox won, but only by 1 run. Damn them

Today’s Pick: Germany -1.5 (+125)

Austria, ranked 92nd in the world, plays Germany, ranked fifth, in a game that could decide which team qualifies for the quarterfinals. Joachim Low ripped into his players after the loss to Croatia. This should fire them up. The only change is Marcell Jansen out in the back, I would have liked to see Gomez replaced by the speed of Neuville. But maybe that will be a change later in the match. Bastian Schweinsteiger suspension hurts, but this is a team with superior talent over its competition. I see a 2-0 or 3-0 game here for the Germans.

Overall Record: $220 (7-5)
