Bet of the day 6/13

I, like many of my friends enjoy gambling. It ranges from games of acey-deucey at a BBQ to the pit games in a casino. One thing that is easy (you don’t actually have to watch) and enjoyable is wagering on sports. With this continuing post, I will pick one game a day. With the side being no better than -130. All sports are open and we will keep a running tally of how well or how poorly I do.

Soccer is the death of me. Germany loses and Poland gives up a late goal for a tie.

Today’s Pick: Chicago White Sox -1.5 (+135)

Chicago will try to extend their home winning streak to nine games Friday when the Colorado Rockies make their first visit to U.S. Cellular Field. Gavin Floyd (7-3, 3.10 ERA) looks to win a career-high fourth consecutive start after posting a 3.60 ERA with 20 strikeouts in 20 innings over his last three. The Rockies are one of the worst road teams in baseball with a 10-24 record and a 5.05 ERA.

Overall Record: $320 (7-4)
