Bet of the day 6/12

June 12, 2008 – 11:31 am by King Ing

I, like many of my friends enjoy gambling. It ranges from games of acey-deucey at a BBQ to the pit games in a casino. One thing that is easy (you don’t actually have to watch) and enjoyable is wagering on sports. With this continuing post, I will pick one game a day. With the side being no better than -130. All sports are open and we will keep a running tally of how well or how poorly I do.

Ryan Dempster pitched a complete game and Kosuke Fukdome did the rest.

Today’s Pick: Germany/Poland 2 Team Parlay +250

When will I learn that I know nothing about soccer. Klose and Podolski against a porous Croatian defense that allowed offensive challenged Austria a bunch of opportunities, I will take my chance. Poland and Austria are both desperate for a win. Austria will proabably push forward leaving Ebi Smolarek, who scored nine times in qualifying and had a goal disallowed for offside against Germany, a couple of chances to put one in the back of the net. When in doubt go with the better team.

Overall Record: $420 (7-3)

BallHype: hype it up!

  2. Damn. I can’t follow this play. Soccer = Sissy. I just can’t bet on womens sports.
