Bet of the day 6/11
June 11, 2008 – 2:46 pm by King IngI, like many of my friends enjoy gambling. It ranges from games of acey-deucey at a BBQ to the pit games in a casino. One thing that is easy (you don’t actually have to watch) and enjoyable is wagering on sports. With this continuing post, I will pick one game a day. With the side being no better than -130. All sports are open and we will keep a running tally of how well or how poorly I do.
The Celtics covered the spread thanks to the shooting of Ray Allen. As long as I stay away from soccer I should be alright.
Today’s Pick: Chicago Cubs -1.5 (+120)
The Cubs are a major-league best home record to 27-8, with their last lost at home on May 17. Atlanta meanwhile, has lost four in a row on the road and overall while falling to 7-22 for the majors’ worst record away from home. Starting pitcher Ryan Dempster (7-2, 2.90 ERA) is 7-0 in eight starts at Wrigley Field.
Overall Record: $300 (6-3)

Nice work King. Keep it Hot. I followed you on the Celtics. I should have jumped on the Cubs too.
