If you know me, you know that I have a strong hatred for Notre Dame. It’s something about Rudy that rubbed me the wrong way. (Now don’t get me wrong, I will still wager on them because money doesn’t dislike any team). Now comes a story about former Fighting Irish alum Tim Brown. #81 is one of the few ND graduates that I actually like; the other being Laphonso Ellis. “Touchdown Timmy” was a Heisman trophy winner and a NFL All-Pro with the LA/Oakland Raiders. I always admired his work ethic on the field as it was relentless and savvy. Off the field he was seen as one with great humility and treated those around him with candor. Brown is now retired from pro football and has ventured into other professions. One of them is writing an investment article for theStreet.com. His first post came out this week and he details his admiration of Microsoft as a good buy low candidate. Some insightful thoughts by Brown, but would you personally trust him over Lenny Dykstra?
