Lebron & Jay-Z > DeShawn Stevenson & Soulja Boy
April 28, 2008 – 1:45 pm by King IngI still don’t understand how a bench player who loves doing something that is a WWE signature move can say something like this. Last month, Deshawn Stevenson opened his mouth and said Lebron James was “overrated.” When LBJ was asked to respond he said it “would be like Jay-Z saying something bad about Soulja Boy.” I love how Soulja Boy just gets dragged into this. He was just sitting at home thinking about what he can buy with his “Crank Dat” money and next thing he knows he is at game 3 doing a move John Cena made famous.
How does a King respond? By calling in one of the greatest rappers of all time. Jay-Z recorded a track Friday and had it downloaded for a party hosted by LeBron at DC hotspot Love that night. I am still upset that Caron Butler, who was in the building wasn’t “Tough Juice.”
Listen to Jay rap over the Too Short beat below…straight heat (i think that’s what the kids say nowadays)
